The Kind of Technology Many Modern Small Businesses Don’t Have

Today’s small businesses are utilizing technology to steer their company in the positive direction against the tough competition. According to a survey conducted by Yodle Inc., majority of these small businesses use technology for accounting purposes while the rest only use it for major business operations including customer support and relationship management.

There were 306 small businesses in the United States that took part in the survey. The event aims to review company owners’ perspective on how modern technology should be used, their professional and personal worries, how they maintain balance in work and life, and many more.

According to the results of the survey, 23% or almost 1 in every 4 small business owners doesn’t spend too much money in online marketing. On the other hand, 56% of the total respondents are willing to spend no more than $500 per month.

In terms of how small companies use modern technology, 51% percent use technology for accounting, 39% use it for booking flights and appointments, 34% for CRM, 25% for sales, 14% for marketing purposes.
